Watch how you ask for a favor

Okay I admit , I made an assumption before I asked but to my surprise she came through..She really came through!!!!!! For those that are wondering wth I'm talking about. I've come into a lil financial strain recently .. I needed a lil gas money to get me by until payday. I pretty much owe everyone so my choices were limited. I decided to ask my sister for some money. Now my sister is one of the stingiest people on earth. She the type that would turn down a job in stock because it involves the word "Shares". So I asked her and she said she aint got it. So I tried the guilt route on her. I said I may have to call-in for work the next couple days but she didnt budge. But again I figured it wouldnt hurt to ask because I was absolutely sure this "single lady with a good job, with no kids" would turn me down anyhow. So I decided to call up my aunt and ask her.. But that was doomed from the start when I said "Hey Auntie, I need 20 bucks to hold me until payday. I cant ask anyone else because I still owe them money." I ended up talking to a dial tone a few seconds later. So I came home and to my surprise my sister met me with $20 dollars in hand. I'm grateful because it kept me from doing the next thing that came to mind, which was siphon my moms car later tonight..
