Black History Tales
Black History Tales: The Summer Olympics started on a plantation in Cleo,Virginia in 1832. Slavemasters would assemble to clock times of slave reactions to gunfire. They measured speed and endurance(100m & 1600m), athleticism(fence jumpin/high jump), and using sticks/rocks(javelin,discus,pole vault)..This became a world wide phenomenon....
